Namaste Away From Me

Sometimes life is hard, sometimes it’s great,
Sometimes I feel love, sometimes I hate.

A connection born out of the will to explore.
A feeling so strong it’s hard to ignore.

An inward journey that leads us away.
A deeper desire with nothing to say.

As expired food rots in the trash,
I wonder what happened and why it didn’t last.

I hate that I’m empty with anger and sorrow,
A feeling that will be less tomorrow.

I don’t understand why I end up alone,
After all I have got through, given and grown.

All I can do is keep moving on,
To smile cuz it happened not because it’s gone.

As my spirit raises up and flies like a dove,
I recommit to my sacred promise of love.

I respect our decisions and will walk a new way.
I will live, love, and act, Namaste.
